Intricately engraved antique bond certificate from the Kanawha Bridge and Terminal Company dating back to the early 1900's. This document was printed by American Bank Note Company, is signed by the company President and Secretary, and measures approximately 10 1/4" (w) by 15" (h).
The vignette features a train crossing an iron truss bridge.

Historical Context
The Kanawha Bridge and Terminal Company was incorporated in West Virginia in 1907.
The company owned a bridge over the Kanawha River at Charleston, West Virginia over which the lines of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway and the Kanawha and Michigan Railway made connection.
The company was controlled by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway.
