Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the Dover White Marble Company dating back to the 1910's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Treasurer, was printed by the Broun-Green Co. and measures approximately 10 1/2" (w) by 8 3/4" (h).
This certificate features a great vignette of a marble quarry including large marble slabs and hoists.

Historical Context
The Dover White Marble Company was incorporated in New York in 1908.
The company's quarry was located in Wingdale between Berkshire Road and today's Route 22. The company's marble was known for its fine, white color and purity and was in much demand and primarily used on statuary and decorative portions of buildings.
