Intricately engraved antique stock certificate from the Chicago, Milwaukee and Puget Sound Railway Company dating back to the 1910's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Assistant Secretary, measures approximately 10" (w) by 8 1/4" (h).
The vignette features a bust of George Washington flanked by Griffins.

Historical Context
The Chicago, Milwaukee and Puget Sound Railway was a subsidiary of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad.
The CM&PS operated the CMSP&P's Pacific Coast Extension from the Midwest (Chicago) to the Pacific Northwest (Tacoma/Seattle) - which was planned between 1901 and 1906 and built between 1906 and 1909.
The Chicago, Milwaukee and Puget Sound Railway Company was folded into its parent company in 1912.
