Historical Context
The Syracuse and Suburban Railroad Company was incorporated in New York in 1895 and ran from the town of Manlius to Syracuse.
The company operated 18.5 miles of track, but financial difficulties in 1921 forced the line to shutter - eventually replaced by bus service.
