Historical Context
The Niagara Falls Branch Railroad Company was incorporated in New York on December 24, 1875 and was based in Watertown.
The company operated an 8 1/2 mile line from Suspension Bridge to Niagara Junction.
In 1881, the line was conveyed to the Rome, Watertown and Ogdensburgh Railroad.
In 1913, it was folded into the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad system.
