Historical Context
The California Pacific Trading Corporation was organized under the laws of Delaware in March of 1929, as an "investment company with powers to buy, sell, or deal as a principal in stock or securities of any kind, to participate in syndicates and underwritings, to act as a holding company, and to exercise such other of its charter powers as the Board of Directors may deem advisable."
The company offices were located on Sansome Street in San Francisco, California.
