Beautifully engraved stock certificate from the Universal Aerial Navigation Co. dating back to the 1910's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Secretary, was printed by Goes and measures approximately 10 3/4" (w) by 8 1/4" (h).

The Universal Aerial Navigation Co. was incorporated in Arizona in 1910 and was based in St. Louis, Missouri.
The company constructed a futuristic airship known as the gyroplane which supposedly combined the benefits of a plane and a helicopter. The airships, which are featured on the vignette of this piece, were to made out of steel and aluminum.
The company's goal was to build a unit that could up to 100 passengers and fly at 10 mph and become a viable commercial transportation company.
The company never reached the production stage and went out of business.
