Nicely engraved antique stock certificate from the United States Plywood Corporation dating back to the 1940's and 1950's. This document, which contains the printed signatures of the company President and Treasurer or Secretary, was printed by the American Bank Note Company, and measures approximately 12" (w) by 8" (h).
This certificate's vignette features a nude male figure turning a large wheel. A group of allegorical figures hover overhead.
The United States Plywood Corporation was incorporated in New York in 1937.
The company was best known for its "Weldwood" plywood products.
