The Eastbrook Company operated a factory in Gardiner, Massachusetts, and was a subsidiary of the Oxford Linen Company of North Brookfield, Massachusetts. The company was incorporated in Maine.
The company manufactured a special fiber by the Oxford processes for supply to textile mills. The fibre was used as a mixture with wool in the manufacture of clothing and underwear, and was considered to have great strength and durability.
