Historical Context
The Reorganized Cracker Jack Mining Company was incorporated on December 18, 1915, in Nevada, as a reorganization of the Cracker Jack Mining Company.
The company owned five claims, two patented, covering 140 acres in the Goldfield District, adjoining the Sandstorm-Kendall on the east. In January, 1916, the company purchased the adjoining 3 claims, 60 acres, formerly owned by the Adams Gold Mining Company, which had been sold for taxes. The Adams group had a vertical shaft 320' deep with levels at 115' and 300' depth, said to show gold-silver ore in a 20' vein in rhyolite.
