Historical Context
In 1924 Wilhelm Reiter and William Henry Foster merged their companies (Foster-Reiter Consulting Geologists and the Reiter Oil Corporation) to form the Reiter-Foster Oil Corporation. The company had offices in Tulsa, Dallas (where Reiter made his home and had offices in the Magnolia Building,) and New York City.
In 1959, the Reiter-Foster Oil Corporation and the Americuba Corporation merged to form the Baruch-Foster Corporation.
