Nicely engraved antique stock certificate from the Reiter-Foster Oil Corporation dating back to the 1940's and 1950's. This document, which carries the printed signatures of the company President and Secretary, was printed by the Columbian Bank Note Company and measures approximately 12" (w) by 8" (h).
This certificate's vignette features an eagle with wings outstretched.

In 1924 Wilhelm Reiter and William Henry Foster merged their companies (Foster-Reiter Consulting Geologists and the Reiter Oil Corporation) to form the Reiter-Foster Oil Corporation. The company had offices in Tulsa, Dallas (where Reiter made his home and had offices in the Magnolia Building,) and New York.
In 1959, the Reiter-Foster Oil Corporation and the Americuba Corporation merged to form the Baruch-Foster Corporation.
