Intricately engraved antique stock certificate from the Quartz King Mining Co. dating back to the early 1900's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Secretary, was printed by the H. S. Crocker Co. and measures approximately 10" (w) by 8" (h).
This certificate's vignette features a mountain mining scene. Smaller mining scenes adorn the border. A second mining scene is printed on the back and is shown in the fourth image above.

The Quartz King Mining Co. was incorporated in Arizona on August 30, 1904.
The company's mines were located in the Seneca Mining District, near Parker, about eight miles from Yuma.
The Santa Fe, Prescott & Phoenix RR (Atchison system) built a branch that passed within two miles of the mines and provided facilities for the transportation of ores.
