Beautifully engraved antique bond certificate from the Pennsylvania Electric Company dating back to the 1980's. This document, which carries the printed signatures of the company Vice President and Secretary, was printed by the Security-Columbian Bank Note Company and measures approximately 10" (w) by 14 1/4" (h).

The company controlled, through ownership of securities, the Citizens’ Light, Heat & Power Company of Pennsylvania, (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), the Johnstown Fuel Supply Company (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), the Penn Electric Service Company (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), the Penn Public Service Company (Clearfield, Pennsylvania), and the Centre & Clearfield Railway Company (Philipsburg, Pennsylvania).
