Historical Context
The Oatman United Gold Mining Co. was incorporated in Oatman, Arizona in 1917.
The company owned 120 acres surveyed for patent, 192 miles northeast of Oatman, adjoining the United Eastern on the north and the Tom Reed on the southwest. The land was said to show five gold bearing fissure veins in andesite and along andesite rhyolite contact.
The company later operated the Okey Davis mine in Nye County, Nevada.
