    Historical Context

The Mitchell Mining Company was incorporated in Arizona in 1902.

The company had operations in the state Globe District (the old Schulz Mine.)

The company also owned the La Dicha Mining & Smelting Company, of Mexico, and the La Dicha & Pacific Railroad Company.

The company's President - George Mitchell - was a relentless promoter. However, the company was not profitable and went bankrupt.
