Nicely engraved antique stock certificate from the Madera Bridge Company dating back to the 1800's. This document measures approximately 8" (w) by 5 1/2" (h).

Historical Context
The Madera Bridge Company was incorporated in Pennsylvania on February 25, 1861.
The company was formed to build a bridge over Clearfield Creek in Madera, where the public road - which ran from Phillipsburg to Glenn Hope - crossed the creek.
