Nicely engraved antique stock certificate from the Macopin Railroad Company dating back to the 1880's. This document was printed by Edward V. Brokaw and measures approximately 12 1/4" (w) by 7 1/4" (h).

This obscure New Jersey-based line was incorporated on November 8, 1886 for the purpose of constructing and operating a railroad from a connection with the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railroad at West Milford to Macopin Lake, a distance of about two miles.
