Historical Context
The Lake Erie, Youngstown & Southern Railroad Company was incorporated in Ohio on November 18, 1902.
On June 14, 1912, the line was sold to the Lake Erie and Eastern Railroad Company.
The existing on paper for just shy of ten years, no construction ever commenced on the line.
