Interstate Department Stores was a small department store chain that operated The Boston Store in Albany and Schenectady, New York, and two department stores operating under the name The Fair in Flint, Michigan.
The company eventually became a subsidiary of the Toys ‘R Us group, who in turn sold the unit on September 27, 1988.
