This document, which carries the printed signatures of the company Chairman and Secretary, was printed by the Security-Columbian Bank Note Company, and measures approximately 12" (w) by 8" (h).

Interstate Department Stores was a small department store chain that operated The Boston Store in Albany and Schenectady, New York, and two department stores operating under the name The Fair in Flint, Michigan.
The company eventually became a subsidiary of the Toys ‘R Us group, who in turn sold the unit on September 27, 1988.
