Nicely engraved antique stock certificate from the Indiana, Illinois and Iowa Railroad Company dating back to the early 1900's. This document was printed by the Franklin Bank Note Company and measures approximately 11" (w) by 6 3/4" (h).
The certificate's intricate vignette features a train at a mountainside depot.

The second railroad into North Judson was the Indiana, Illinois and Iowa Railroad also known as the 3I route. It was built from Streator, Illinois to North Judson in 1881, and onto South Bend, Indiana in 1894.
The 3I would later become part of the New York Central Railroad.
