Indiana, Illinois and Iowa Railroad Company
Beautifully engraved antique bond certificate from the Indiana, Illinois and Iowa Railroad Company dating back to the early 1900's. This document, which has been signed by the company President and Secretary, was printed by the Western Bank Note Company and measures approximately 9 1/4" (w) by 14 1/2" (h).
The certificate's intricate vignette features a train in a rail yard passing a hopper car.

The second railroad into North Judson was the Indiana, Illinois and Iowa Railroad also known as the 3I route. It was built from Streator, Illinois to North Judson in 1881, and onto South Bend, Indiana in 1894.
The 3I would later become part of the New York Central Railroad.
