Historical Context
The Illinois Pacific Glass Corporation was formed in 1926 as a reorganization of the Illinois Pacific Glass Company, which had originally grown out of the Abramson-Heunisch Glass Company. The company was based in San Francisco, California.
The company made a variety of glass products including milk bottles, soda bottles - including patented versions specifically for Coca-Cola, Orange Crush and Presto mason jars.
In 1930, the company was reorganized as the Illinois-Pacific Coast Company.
