Nicely engraved antique stock certificate from the Iager and Southern Railway Company dating back to the 1890's. This document was printed by the Werner Company of Akron, Ohio and measures approximately 11 3/4" (w) by 10 1/4" (h).

The Iaeger and Southern Railway Company was chartered in West Virginia in 1898 to construct a railroad from Iaeger to a point at the mouth of Jacob's Fork, Big Sandy River.
The company was controlled by Norfolk and Western Railway Company after 1906; and was dissolved in 1912. It was known as the Norfolk & Western's Dry Fork Branch.
