Intricately engraved antique stock certificate from the Hazel-Goldfield Mines Company dating back to the early 1900's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Secretary, was printed by J. W. Middleton and measures approximately 10 1/4" (w) by 8 1/4" (h).
Beautiful vignette features a tram in a tunnel flanked by a miner and a mill.

Historical Context
The Hazel-Goldfield Mines Company was incorporated in South Dakota and had offices in Goldfield, Nevada.
The company operated a lease on property owned by Goldfield Consolidated Mining Company known as the Last Chance claim. They also owned the Berenice Fraction and had a lease on the Miss Jessie claim.
The company was primarliy financed by Chicago-based investors.
