Nicely engraved antique stock certificate from the Hazard Wharf Company of Baltimore City dating back to the early 1900's. This document was printed by A. Hoen & Co. of Baltimore, and measures approximately 11 1/4" (w) by 8 1/2" (h).
This piece features a stunning vignette of Baltimore Harbor, showing the city's industrial presence and over 15 ships.

Historical Context
The Hazard Wharf Company was incorporated in Maryland and was based in Baltimore.
The company was incorporated to import coal into Baltimore's port when a coal strike hit the city in 1902.
Later the company sold minerals, lumber and other raw materials.
