Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the Grigsby-Grunow Company dating back to the 1930's. This document, which is signed by the company Vice President and Secretary, was printed by the American Bank Note Company, and measures approximately 11" (w) by 7" (h).

Grigsby-Grunow was founded in Chicago in 1927 and marketed radios under the Majestic name. The company quickly became the largest radio producer in the United States, as the Majestic line was known for its superior speakers and parts.
However, the Great Depression killed the company's momentum and Grigsby-Grunow was bankrupt by 1933. The Majestic name was carried on by its successor - the Majestic Radio and Television Corporation.
The company also manufactured refrigerators - which the company marketed as the "Mighty Monarchs of the Arctic."
