Nicely engraved antique stock certificate from the Goldfield Treasure Mining Company dating back to the 1910's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Treasurer, measures approximately 10 3/4" (w) by 8 1/4" (h).
This certificate's vignette features a group of miners working in a seam.

Historical Context
The Goldfield Treasure Mining Company was incorporated in Arizona in 1904.
The company owned three mining groups in Nevada's Goldfield District in Esmeralda County. The three groups had 13 claims in all.
Group No. 1 was one mile north of Goldfield, and included five fractions (equal to two full claims), all patented.
Group No. 2 was in Diamondfield Section of District, and included three unpatented, full claims.
Group No. 3, in the eastern part of District, included five unpatented, fractional claims.
