Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from Gold Park Consolidated Mines dating back to the 1910's. This document, which has been signed by the company President and Secretary, was printed by Goes and measures approximately 11" (w) by 8 1/4" (h).
This piece features a primary mining vignette in the upper left corner with six smaller mining scenes in the borders. The company seal at the bottom left contains a raised gold bar.

Historical Context
Gold Park Consolidated Mines was incorporated in California on December 28, 1903.
The company owned fifty-two claims in the Twentynine Palms District, four miles south of the oasis. Some of the holdings were in San Bernardino County, others were just south of the line in Riverside County. Major groups developed were the Atlanta, Black Warrior, Boss, Caladonia, Gold Park No. 1, No. 2, and No. 27, and Oro copio.
