Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the Ferber Copper Company Limited dating back to the 1910's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Secretary, measures approximately 10 3/4" (w) by 8 1/2" (h).
This certificate features a great vignette of an eagle atop a shield. In the background are tipis, Native Americans on horseback, and a train leaving a town.

The Ferber Copper Company was incorporated in Utah in 1917.
Principal offices were located in Salt Lake City, while mines were located in Wendover.
The company owned eight claims and four were held under bond, in the Deep Creek mining district, about 14 miles west of Gold Hill. Claims showed limestone near a monzonite intrusion, and arc said to show a vein, 4-6' wide, carrying ore that assays 5 1/2 -7% copper, 3-12 oz. silver and 40c gold per ton.
