Historical Context
The Denver & Santa Fe Railway was incorporated in Colorado in 1887.
The line ran from Denver to Pueblo - about 126 miles, with tracks parallelling the Denver & Rio Grande.
The line was controlled by the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe and was folded into that system in 1900.
