Denning Mobile Robotics, Inc. developed artificially intelligent mobile robots for research and exploratoration, guidance and cleaning functions and industrial assembly lines. The Company sold its products under the names "RoboScrub," "Fander," UTV-200" and "MRV". The products were distributed around the United States through National service robotics association trade shows and magazines.
The company also produced the "Sentry" security robot, which even enticed the U. S. Army into short term exploratory contract. The security robot continuously patrolled for 14 hours, detected intruders within 100 feet and automatically returned to recharge its batteries at the end of its shift.
Unfortunately, Denning was never able to scale their products to achieve an attractive price point and the company failed.
