Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the Continental Mines, Power and Reduction Company dating back to the 1910's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Assistan Secretary, was printed by the Denver Litho. Co. and measures approximately 11 1/2" (w) by 8 1/2" (h).

Historical Context
The Continental Mines, Power and Reduction Company was incorporated in Colorado in 1905 and was based in Denver.
As the title implies, the company owned mining, utility and mill properties throughout the state. These included the Seemann Tunnel, the Hydro-Electric power plant and the Lombard mill.
The Lomabrd mine owned a number of patented mining claims, most of which were located in the northeast corner of Clear Creek County.
The company was held by the Seeman Investment and Finance Company.
