Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from Clinton Foods, Inc. dating back to the 1950's. This document carries the printed signatures of the company President and Treasurer, was printed by the American Bank Note Company, and measures approximately 12" (w) by 8" (h).

Clinton Foods, Inc. produced a variety of food and citrus products.
The company purchased Snow Crop - a citrus concentrate company - in 1951, and later sold the Snow Crop division to Minute Maid.
The company produced and marketed Hi-C fruit drink for Niles Foster, who developed the product. The name Hi-C referred to the original drink's high vitamin content. The original Hi-C formula contained orange juice concentrate, peel oil and orange essences, sugar, water, citric acid and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Clinton's Hi-C business was also included in the Minute Maid deal.
