Historical Context
The Atlanta Mines Company was incorporated in Arizona on March 3, 1905. The company owned 74 patented acres at Goldfield, Nevada, including the Atlanta, Black Bear and Union Jack mines, adjoining the Florence on the east and the Goldfield Consolidated, on the north. In 1912 the company was reorganized and refinanced for deep mine development. |
