Historical Context
The Arrowhead Petroleum Corporation was incorporated in Nevada on June 10, 1927.
The company had operations in the United States and Canada, including the Escalante well in St. George, Quebec. That well fell victim to an explosion in 1935 that killed 10 people. The well was originally stared by the Escalante Exploration Corporation, a Canadian concern, but then sold to Arrowhead Petroleum in 1933. It was one of a number of wells in the St. George Basin operated by Arrowhead.
