The American Sectional Electric Underground Company had a number of patents for underground conduits and manholes for housing telegraph, telephone, and electric light and power wires. The idea was to bundle the wires of different service providers into a single buried conduit.
The company was incorporated in New Jersey on March 14, 1882 and had offices in Philadelphia.
The company's charter was voided in 1893.
