Nicely engraved antique stock certificate from the American Poultry School Co. dating back to the 1920's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Secretary, was printed by Goes and measures approximately 11" (w) by 8 1/2" (h).
The certificate's vignette features an eagle atop a globe.
The American Poultry School Co. was incorporated in Kansas City, Missouri and produced a series of publications to help facilitate raising poultry - basically acting as a correspondence school.
The company touted they had "the world's greatest staff of instructors in poultry culture" headed by company Dean and President Professor T. E. Quisenberry - who has signed this piece. The company slogan was "The Quisenberry way makes every hen pay!"
Some of the company's publications included The Call of the Hen, Dollars and Sense in the Poultry Business and Coin Chicks into Gold.
