Nicely engraved antique stock certificate from American Cirrus Engines, Inc. dating back to the 1920's. This document, which carries the printed signatures of the company Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer, was a printed by the American Bank Note Company, and measures approximately 10 1/2" (w) by 7 3/4" (h).

American Cirrus Engines, Inc. was incorporated in Delaware in 1928 and was based in Belleville, New Jersey.
The company manufactured the American Cirrus Mark III light plane engine.
After going bankrupt, the company was acquired by Allied Motor Industries, Inc. in 1931. Operations moved to Marysville, Michigan and the company became the A. C. E. Corporation.
