Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the Allegheny Street Railway Company dating back to the 1800's. This document was printed by Mackenzie Davis & Co. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and measures approximately 11" (w) by 8 3/4" (h).
This certificate's fantastic vignette features an electrified trolley car on a city street.

The Allegheny Street Railway was one of Pittsburgh’s long line of trolley companies that flourished in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
In 1892, the line was leased by the Federal Street and Pleasant Valley Passenger Railway.
