Historical Context
The A. B. C. Brewing Corporation was incorporated in Delaware on June 27, 1933 to take over the plant and physical equipment of the American Brewing Company of St. Louis, Missouri. The American Brewing Company plant operated as part of the Independent Brewing Company, and manufactured and sold beer from 1904 to prohibition, and thereafter until December of 1928. The company also produced a cereal-based near beer. The company produced a modest line of pilsners and ales, but was out of business by 1937. |
