Historical Context
The Lincoln Printing Company was incorporated in Delaware in 1928 as a consolidation of the Lincoln Printing Company of Chicago and the Lincoln Engraving and Printing Corporation of New York City. Both of the predecessor companies had been founded by Washington Flexner. Flexner continued operations in both cities, primarily concentrating on the printing of financial documents. The company continued to operate until 1967 when it was liquidated. |
