Product Details
Intricately engraved antique stock certificate from the North American Mining Company dating back to the early 1900's. This document, which is signed by the company President, was printed by Goes and measures approximately 10 3/4" (w) by 8 1/4" (h).
The vignette features an eagle clutching a shield and some arrows.

The North American Mining Company was incorporated in Colorado in the ealry 1920's. The company had offices in Denver.
The company owned properties in Idaho Springs in Clear Creek County, a number of properties in Gilpin County, Ward in Boulder County, and the Animas Mining District of San Juan County - total acreage 807,613.
Their primary operation was at the Central Tunnel on the west end Idaho Springs (also known as the Big 5 Tunnel).
Some of claims the company owned included the Edgar, Shafter, East Stanley (Clear Creek County); the Becky Sharp (Gilpin County) and the Columbia, Dew Drop (Boulder County).
