Historical Context
The Wilson Oil Company was organized in Texas and had offices in Dallas.
The company, founded by Clay Wilson, operated the Smackover well in Moscow, Idaho.
The company appears to have been one of the countless Texas oil entities that tried to take advantage of the boom of the early 1920's by offering the promises of riches via strategically placed newspaper ads across the country.
There is no evidence the company ever produced.
