The Los Angeles and Vernon Street Railway Company was incorporated in California on July 20, 1887.
The company operated a horsecar line on Central Avenue from 5th Street to Vernon Avenue.
It was purchased by the Los Angeles Consolidated Electric Railway in 1891.
