Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the York Railways Company dating back to the 1910's. This document, which has been signed by the company Vice President and Treasurer, was printed by the American Bank Note Company and measures approximately 12" (w) by 8 1/4" (h).

The York Railways Company was incorporated in Pennsylvania in 1907 and ran from York to Hanover.
It eventually became part of the vast Insull holdings before the empire collapsed after the Crash of 1929.
