Thoroughbred Silver Black Foxes, Limited was incorporated in Canada in 1919.
The company was one of over 200 fox farms that popped up in the area after the price for silver fox pups rose from $3,000 a pair to over $16,000 a pair because of a wealth of buyers and limited inventory.
However, the company was late to the game, and by the time they were operational, the pup prices had receeded back to around $2,000 a pair. The company never found firm footing and was quickly dissolved.
