Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the Syracuse & Suburban Railroad Company dating back to the early 1900's. This document, which has been signed by the company President and Treasurer, was printed by the Syracuse Litho Co. and measures approximately 10 3/4" (w) by 8 1/2" (h).

The Syracuse and Suburban Railroad Company was incorporated in New York in 1895 and ran from the town of Manlius to Syracuse.
The company operated 18.5 miles of track, but financial difficulties in 1921 forced the line to shutter - eventually replaced by bus service.
