Nicely engraved antique stock certificate from the Sunray Oil Corporation dating back to the 1940's and 1950's. This document, which carries the printed signatures of the company President and Secretary, was printed by the Hamilton Bank Note Company and measures approximately 12" (w) by 8" (h).

In 1955, Sunray Oil merged with the Mid-Continent Oil Company and became the Sunray Mid-Continent Oil Company. In 1962, the company changed its name to the Sunray DX Oil Company.
On October 25, 1968, the Sunray DX Oil Company merged into the Sun Oil Company. In 1976, the Sun Oil Company reorganized and renamed itself the Sun Company Inc.
