Intricately engraved antique stock certificate from the Spokane Tin Mines Co. dating back to the early 1900's. This document was printed by the Spokane Litho. Co. and measures approximately 10 1/2" (w) by 8" (h).

 

This certificate's vignette shows Tin Hill in Washington.

    Historical Context

    The Spokane Tin Mines Company was incorporated in Washington in 1907 and  operated the Silver Hill Mine near Freeman. The mine spanned an area covering 312 acres, and was about 20 miles southeast of Spokane.

    Work ceased in 1918 after the signing of the Armistace to end World War I.
