The Jim Butler Tonopah Mining Company was incorporated in 1903 to develop a group claims lying immediately south of the eastern end of the Tonopah Mining Company's property.
These claims included the Eureka, Curtis, Sunset, Last Chance, Big Tono, Flying Dutchman, Little Tono, Leutjens, Wandering Boy, Stone Cabin, McCulloch, Good Enough, Butler, Tonopah #3, Tonopah #4, Daylight, Hidden Gems and Hawthorne fraction claims.
